What is The York Review?
This text is an annual publication that is composed of a variety of art-related works—mostly different forms of writing—that were created by students who are attending or who have attended York College of Pennsylvania. Archived copies of some of the past volumes are available online. Due to the fact that the majority of submissions included in The York Review are some form(s) of writing, it is particularly relevant to the current Professional Writing students at the college.
How can I contribute to the annual publication?
In order to contribute to The York Review, one must first enroll as a York College of Pennsylvania student. During one or more semesters at the college, the student will have the opportunity to take Publications Management I-III, usually after the conclusion of freshman year. Professional Writing students taking one or more of the thee-tiered Publications Management courses offered at the college will have the opportunity to expand upon their writing skills while gaining real-world publishing experience working with The York Review. Furthermore, requirements for the Publishing Track offered will be fulfilled upon completion of the aforementioned courses, allowing students to progress in their major.
